Your Role at Unilever

As a key player in Unilever’s Manufacturing Excellence team, your mission is to drive operational excellence and champion innovative strategies to transform our factories. Here’s what you’ll be doing:

  • Unilever Manufacturing System (UMS): Be the on-site expert, introducing initiatives to enhance plant performance and rolling out UMS programs for measurable process improvements.
  • Performance Optimization: Collaborate with teams to define targets, implement action plans, and achieve operational excellence.
  • Digital Transformation: Spearhead the digital agenda, deploying cutting-edge tools and data systems to manage plant performance and track improvements.
  • Coaching and Leadership: Lead training programs to empower teams with continuous improvement methodologies, while fostering collaboration with the global network to share best practices.
  • Problem Solving and Analytics: Use data-driven insights to analyze trends, identify improvement opportunities, and implement long-term solutions.

What You Bring to the Table

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Manufacturing (Lean, UMS, TPM).
  • 4–6 years in a similar role, preferably within FMCG.
  • Proven experience leading change and continuous improvement programs.

Key Skills:

  • Strong technical expertise in manufacturing improvement processes.
  • Exceptional coaching, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Proficiency in data analytics, visualization, and decision-making based on performance metrics.
  • Ability to excel under tight deadlines while managing conflicting priorities.
